Do your products ever come in contact with plastic?Updated a year ago
Why are some ingredients at Annmarie Gianni Skincare housed in plastic?
Some of our ingredients, particularly those shipped in bulk like essential oils and aloe vera juice, arrive in plastic containers from our suppliers. These containers, often 32-gallon to 64-gallon drums, are used due to logistical reasons and supplier practices. While we aim for glass packaging whenever feasible, it's not always possible given shipping constraints.
Does the use of plastic affect the quality of your products?
We take great care to ensure that the brief period our ingredients spend in plastic drums does not compromise product quality. Our sensitive ingredients, such as aloe vera juice, are made fresh to order and spend minimal time in transit drums after herb infusion. Additionally, all drums are stored away from heat, with many refrigerated, to maintain optimal quality and avoid any chemical leaching.
Are the plastics used in your formulations safe?
Yes, any plastics used in our end formulations during transit are BPA and BPS free. We prioritize using safe materials to maintain the integrity of our products and ensure they meet our high safety standards.
